Health camp organized in an event of ART of LIVING

There was a huge event organized by the Art of Living foundation in the divine presence of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in Belgaum city. In this special event, we got an opportunity to conduct a free health checkup camp.

         

The event was one of a kind where people from neighbouring districts like Hubli, and Vijayapur and neighbouring states like Maharashtra and Goa attended. It was a huge gathering and BloodCellsKart got an opportunity to demonstrate its services of home collection of blood samples and reporting online. 

Team:

• There were 10 team members from BloodCellsKart.

• Two general physicians, Dr. Shilpa Patil, and Dr. Sachin Rajapure, and 10 Assistant Doctors

• Five phlebotomists collect the blood sample for paid packages.

• Five Nurses for Blood sugar testing and BMI reporting. 

Free services:

• Services provided in the camp were 

• Doctor consultation.

• Blood sugar checkup, BP checkup, 

• BMI (Body Mass Index) and 

• Free medicines were provided as per the patient’s requirement. 

• Other paid blood tests were available from BloodCellsKart for those who were diagnosed by doctors.

Achievements: 

• Around 4000+ beneficiaries attended the camp of all ages. 

• The majority of beneficiaries were male. 

• Among all beneficiaries, many of them were screened for blood sugar levels and the doctor suggested them a fasting blood sugar test.

• Some are diagnosed with arthritis problems they booked kidney function tests and lipid profile tests. 

• Around 358 beneficiaries screened as overweight and obese and doctors suggested thyroid tests for obese. And they suggested some diet and physical exercise.
